On the heels of Chris Culliver’s homophobic comments earlier today, former 49er’s lineman Tony Pashos tweets that the team’s contract clearly states a zero tolerance policy towards prejudice and discrimination:

Chris Culliver must not have read his Niners contract. Strict zero tolerance policy for any sort of prejudice or discrimination.

The contract clearly states-zero tolerance-Niners respect all genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, etc. you sign your name on it.

Chris Culliver opened himself up 2 serious punishment. Niners r dead serious against discrimination that they put zero tolerance in deal.

It will be interesting to see if the team cracks down on Culliver and if they do it for the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Dear players preparing to play in the Super Bowl: anything you say during the two weeks leading up to the big game will be heard by everyone.

Some players just do not understand.

Take 49er’s corner Chris Culliver for example. After waking up to a “mean” text today, the DB known as Cully had some harsh generalizations for the female gender:

Later in the day, Culliver told comedian Artie Lange that he would not welcome a gay player into the 49er’s locker room. “I don’t do the gay guys man:”

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver told comedian Artie Lange that he would not welcome a gay player to the team.

Lange was in New Orleans for Super Bowl media day Tuesday, and played part of the interview on his syndicated radio show that night.

“I don’t do the gay guys man,” Culliver said in response to gay players in the NFL. “I don’t do that.”

Lange asked if he thought there were any gay players currently on the 49ers.

“No, we don’t got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do. Can’t be with that sweet stuff.”

So Lange asks if gay players would need to keep it a secret.

“Yeah, come out 10 years later after that,” Culliver said.
